Cornish Rex Friends Rescue

Quails Nest Cattery

We breed very selectively, only about once every 12 months. Our next litter will most likely be in late fall 2008. If you are interested in adding a Cornish Rex kitten to your family sooner than that, please contact me.  I'd be more than happy to refer you to an ethical breeder or rescue. I know many breeders throughout the country and will do my best to put you in touch with ones that may have matches for you.

Instead of a kitten, have you thought about adding a retired show cat/breeding cat to your family? Young adult Cornish Rex are wonderful, especially if you've never had a Rex before. My first Cornish Rex came to me as an adult. Because her personality was developed, her breeder was able to match her perfectly to me. She also had built up her adult immune system by then, so no unnecessary trips to the vet to treat "kitten sniffles".

Currently Available, October 2008

I Come to Headbutt YouI'll soon have a retired show cat available, CH Quails Nest Cornelius of Boska.  A very  special boy, Cornelius has aHe Killed the Photographer's Toys fantastic personality that is a perfect balance of playful and affectionate.  He'll stop mid-game just to get his ears scratched and loves to sleep in laps.  His vibrant brown mackerel tabby pattern and exceptionally soft coat are like no other.  He'd do very well in a home with other playful, sweet cats and kids.  He was born on July 1, 2007 and goes to his new home neutered and up-to-date on his vaccinations.  Cornelius's parents are CH Quails Nest Corn Muffin of Boska and GC Quails Nest Blackstone.

I also know of a few very selective breeders here in California and throughout the country that have kittens and adults available.  Please contact me if you are interested in Cornelius or if you'd like a referral to another breeder.
