We breed very selectively, only about once every 12 months. If you are interested in adding a Cornish Rex kitten to your family please contact me. If I don't have a cat that is right for you, I'd be more than happy to refer you to an ethical breeder or rescue. I know many breeders throughout the country and will do my best to put you in touch with ones that may have matches for you. Instead of a kitten, have you thought about adding a retired show cat/breeding cat to your family? Young adult Cornish Rex are wonderful, especially if you've never had a Rex before. My first Cornish Rex came to me as an adult. Because her personality was developed, her breeder was able to match her perfectly to me. She also had built up her adult immune system by then, so no unnecessary trips to the vet to treat "kitten sniffles". Currently Available, December, 2011 I occasionally have kittens or retired (from showing or breeding) young adults available. I'll have a seven-month old neutered male available named Hermy available after he finishes his show career. Cream mackerel tabby in color, Hermy is a big ball of purr. He purrs while he plays, while he eats and especially when you're petting him. He has an extremely high energy level, even for a Cornish Rex. He loves to run, jump, climb and play with toys. Due to his level of exuberance, he'd do best in a home with no other cats as they may not appreciate his enthusiasm. Here are recent videos of him: UPDATE, 02/09/12: Hermy is now an officially retired showcat as he achieved his "Grand Premier" title. His new home is pending. Barbara Morrow of Quails Nest has wonderful cats. She's located in California. More info can be found on her site. I also know of a few very ethical breeders here in California and throughout the country that have kittens and adults available. Please contact me if you'd like to be added to my interest list or if you'd like a referral to another breeder. |
